A Mass of Christian burial will be held at Transfiguration Catholic Church in Marietta, Georgia on Tuesday, January 16 at am with Father Fred Wendel officiating.

Bud is survived by his children Bob (Ferna) Geer, Dan (Patty) Geer, Zane (Dixie) Geer, Shelley Geer, Joel Geer; grandchildren Zane, Tammy, Matthew, Callin, Doni, Tanner, Lindsey, Jason, Justin, Jake, Jessie, Tara, Ryan, Autumn, and Amber; great-grandchildren Wally, Miles, Dawsyn, Owen, Cody, Tommy, Katy, Sam, Amanda, Kat, Allan, Kayla, Logann, Quinn, Buddy, Rowan, and Aadn; great-great-grandchild, Craig; and nieces and nephews Karen (Will) Taylor, Kurt (Tammy) Kummerfeldt, Charlene Schlotte, Diane (Pete) Nagel, Beverly (Jerry) Freeman, Laurie Mc Connell, Monte (Lonnie) Geer, Mary (Dave) Jensen and Chuck (June) Geer. A visitation will be held at Mayes Ward-Dobbins Funeral Home in Marietta on Monday, January 15 from to pm, with a prayer service to follow at pm.

By 1971 Bud had a sizable rodeo stock and became a stock contractor himself.

Geer Rodeo Company furnished stock to rodeos throughout Montana.
